Some quick things:
UConn and Rutgers will immediately continue playing each other after the Scarlet Knights leave for the Big Ten. They programs are working on a game next season at either Brooklyn’s Barclay Center or Madison Square Garden. After that, a home-and-home will ensue in 2015-16.
UConn and LSU have agreed on a home-and-home beginning during the 2015-16 season in Storrs.
Next year’s UConn-Notre Dame game, which will renew that lovely rivarly, will be played in South Bend on Dec. 6, 2014.
There are no plans to continue the series with either Duke or Maryland at this time.
And UConn will submit papers to the NCAA on behalf of Morgan Tuck’s medical redshirt request as soon as the Huskies season ends. Senior women’s adminstrator Deb Corum said Sunday that UConn is confident Tuck, who played in just eight games, will qualify for a fifth year. She’s been out since early January after knee surgery
