According to the All-Star Girls report, Natalie Butler, the former Georgetown center and last year’s Big East Freshman of the year, has decided to transfer to UConn.
She will be unable to play next season due to NCAA transfer rules, but she has three years of eligibility remaining.
If this is true, and ASGR is usually spot on with these things, we should be hearing from UConn at some point today.
Butler averaged 13.9 points and 13.3 rebounds in 36.2 minutes and started all 32 games for the Hoyas this past season. She was ranked fifth nationally in rebounding and ninth in double-doubles (24). She visited UConn earlier this month.
