The New York Post is reporting that highly touted junior guard Sierra Calhoun of Christ the King High has been offered a scholarship by Notre Dame.
Calhoun’s father, Omar, told the newspaper that his daughter now has offers from Duke, Kentucky, St. John’s, Rutgers, Florida State, Syracuse and West Virginia.
Omar Calhoun, whose son Omar Jr., Christ the King’s all-time leading scorer, is a freshman on the UConn men’s team, told the Post he believes the UConn women will soon join the party. Sierra Calhoun is planning to take an unofficial visit to UConn soon.
