State Farm Ends Sponsorship Of Tipoff Classic

The Knoxville News-Sentinel is reporting that State Farm Insurance has pulled its financial sponsorship for the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame museum’s annual college hoops tip-off event.
USA Basketball’s Carol Callan, a member of the board of directors for the museum, said State Farm’s decision will cost the museum $140,000 a year.
Callan said State Farm plans on moving the money to WNBA sponsorship
