The Connecticut Sun host the New York Liberty in the first of three preseason games May 11 at Mohegan Sun Arena at 7 p.m.

Connecticut will also play a road game against the Liberty on May 18 at 4 p.m., and close out the preseason May 21at Minnesota at noon.

“We are excited to begin a new era here in Connecticut,” Sun Vice President and General Manager Chris Sienko said Tuesday. “New York has always been a great rival. I am certain new head coach Bill Laimbeer will have them in contention this season. Two games with New York and a road game against the two-time Western Conference champs will give us a good early gauge on our team.”
