UConn Women Trading Cards Soon On Display
On Tuesday, a new display will be added the to the Husky Heritage Sports Museum exhibit located in the UConn Alumni Center on the Storrs campus.
Trading cards (160 of them) representing 125 former UConn athletes in men’s basketball, women’s basketball, football, baseball, men’s soccer, men’s ice hockey will be in the new exhibit.
And among them will be trading cards of 27 women’s basketball alumni who have gone on to either professional and/or USA Basketball fame, beginning with Rebecca Lobo and up to Tiffany Hayes, who just completed her rookie season with the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. Even Geno Auriemma will be represented.
The display will include:
