USA Today Coaches Poll Ranks UConn No. 1

This is not a big surprise. And most of what the team accomplishes this season shouldn’t be, either. The UConn women, who begin defending their eighth national title Nov. 9 against Hartford, are the preseason No. 1 team in the USA Today/Coaches Poll.

And the Huskues will be No. 1 in the Associated Press poll that will come out in a few days.
