UConn athletic director Warde Manuel said tonight from the Paradise Jam that Geno Auriemma’s new contract extension is “almost done” and will be for five additional years, through the 2017-18 season.
Auriemma is in the final year of a contract he signed in 2008. That was a five-year, $8 million contract
